Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to employees and clients.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Windows/Mac/Linux).
  • Manage IT ticketing system and respond to incidents within SLAs.
  • Support Active Directory, email systems (Outlook/Exchange), and VPN access.
  • Install and configure computers, printers, mobile devices, and software.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and assist in onboarding/offboarding users.
  • Document solutions, updates, and technical knowledge base articles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or system administration.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, MS Office, and common IT tools.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, Freshdesk).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications

  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) or automation tools.
  • Experience supporting hybrid/remote work environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Workspace.
  • Bilingual (English and French) preferred for government or national clients.
