Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support to employees and clients.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Windows/Mac/Linux).
- Manage IT ticketing system and respond to incidents within SLAs.
- Support Active Directory, email systems (Outlook/Exchange), and VPN access.
- Install and configure computers, printers, mobile devices, and software.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and assist in onboarding/offboarding users.
- Document solutions, updates, and technical knowledge base articles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or system administration.
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, MS Office, and common IT tools.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, Freshdesk).
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) or automation tools.
- Experience supporting hybrid/remote work environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Workspace.
- Bilingual (English and French) preferred for government or national clients.
