Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for departments or business units.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Build financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Assist in cost analysis, revenue projections, and cash flow tracking.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data and dashboards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications

  • CPA, CFA, or working toward a financial certification.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel VBA.
  • Knowledge of budgeting software like Adaptive Insights or Anaplan.
  • Exposure to investment banking, corporate finance, or audit.
  • Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or MFin) preferred but not required.
